Carol Gudanowski
Carol was born on September 22, 1982, in Arlington Heights, Illinois. As a kid, she was always drawing and watching tons of Nickelodeon.

She became interested in dinosaurs in fourth grade, when her teacher had her class do a mock expedition complete with pretend money, containers filled with sand, and museum-loaned fossils.

After volunteering and working in the University of Chicago Dinosaur Lab, Carol was invited aboard. She can’t wait to experience the culture of Niger, and hopes to discover a new species.
