Named in honor of Argentinian Victorino Herrera.

Length: 13 feet

Discovery site: Ishigualasto badlands of Argentina

Notes:

Herrerasaurus was found in 1958 by Victorino Herrera in Argentina. The first skull of Herrerasaurus was found by Paul Sereno in 1988.
